Conclave Eve

As it goes, nobody knows much more than this – the Mass for the Election of the Roman Pontiff begins at 10am Rome tomorrow (5am ET/2am PT) in St Peter's Basilica; the Holy See has released the worship aid for the rites.

At 4.30pm Rome, the cardinal-electors, gathered in the Pauline Chapel, will process into the Sistina (program), at which point they enter Conclave until emerging with a new Pope.

As the last thing this crowd needs is commentary, clean livestreams will be available through the HD Vatiplayer or, for smartphone and tablet users, via the "Pope App" on iOS and Android.
